We visited Welsh Premier League Champions TNS for our event at The Venue at Park Hall Stadium
Local young people attended the Park Hall stadium for the day for our club event with Welsh Premier League side The New Saints FC.
Pupils took part in an educational workshop delivered by education worker Chris Stokes learning about the topic of racism through interactive games and discussions.
During the workshop the young people took the chance to make additional notes adding to the research they had done prior to the event to aid in the production of their newspaper articles they will be writing when back at school after the event.
The afternoon session was supported by manager Craig Harrison who was joined by campaign worker Jason Webber for the role play press conference.
The young people posed questions on racism in football and society to the panel who faced some tough intelligent questions.
The best asked questions on the day won a signed TNS FC shirt and shorts, a club scarf and SRtRC goodie bag.
Every pupil also received match tickets for Friday nights WPL match against Aberystwyth FC.
We would like to thank the school for attending the event, the club and Craig Harrison for supporting the day.
