We delivered player training to academy players at TNS FC
TNS became the second club to have a player training session with their under 10-13 age groups as part of our new player training workshops program.
Campaign worker Jason Webber and education worker Chris Stokes attended the clubs ground to deliver an educational workshop to the players.
The workshop focused on explaining what racism is, how the players can deal with racism and the procedures and importance of reporting racism.
The young players were very engaged in the topic and had many experiences to share and questions to ask Jason and Chris.
The end of the session focused on terminology, specifically what words are acceptable or unacceptable in society, which cleared up any confusion amongst the squad.
The session was a big success and proved to be a productive way of delivering anti racist education within the football environment where players are more confident to engage in honest discussions and questions.
Our next player training session will be at Prestatyn Town FC.

We would like to thank the club for supporting the player training program and the players for taking part in the workshop.
