FREE all-day training events. Open to those working in education
We are currently running a programme of regional teacher training conferences in association with the National Union of Teachers (NUT) and the Department for Councils and Local Government (DCLG).
These FREE events are aimed at school teachers, leaders and educators across all key stages. All delegates will receive a goody bag of Show Racism the Red Card’s educational resources.

About: These training day equip teachers, school leaders and governors to confidently engage with young people on the issues of racism and Islamophobia, enabling them to grow up free from the burdens of prejudice and hate.
This training aims to:
• enable delegates to recognise racism and respond to racist incidents
• inform delegates of the structure and messages of contemporary far right social movements
• empower delegates to challenge racist and Islamophobic myths
• equip delegates with knowledge and resources to educate young people, enabling them to reject messages of prejudice and hate.
