At a time when racism is very much in the limelight, we were able to get the thoughts of the Presiding Officer of the National Assembly for Wales to share her experiences with us and show her support to our campaign.
What message would you give to young people about challenging racism?
I would encourage young people to have the courage to say racism is wrong, and to stand up and make a difference in their local communities against racism
Do you think SRTRC has helped towards fighting racism in football across Wales?
Using footballers as role models to discourage racism and encouraging people to make a stand against racism has made the SRTRC a successful and established campaign movement in the fight against racism
What are your experiences of racism?
I have been disgusted by racism whenever I have witnessed it
What else can be done to tackle racism in our society?
I believe that continued awareness campaigns will make a difference in the fight against racism in society and in our local communities
We have reports of racism at grassroots football in Wales, how can we help eradicate this?
Continued campaigning and community initiatives will continue to make a difference in tackling racism with grassroots football across Wales.
