St Johnstone fans were handed free posters of the squad ahead of their recent home fixture against Inverness Caledonian Thistle to mark the annual Show Racism the Red Card fortnight of action.
The posters were sponsored by Perth and Kinross Community Safety Partnership and they will also be distributed widely across Perth and Kinross. The Partnership also continues to jointly sponsor a trackside billboard at McDiarmid Park with the local branch of UNISON which displays the ‘Show Racism the Red Card’ message.
Recently departed Saints manager Derek McInnes was appointed a patron of the charity prior to departing for Bristol City.
Chair of the Community Safety Partnership, Councillor Willie Robertson said: “This is a vital part of our continued partnership arrangement with Show Racism the Red Card and is a quick and easy way of getting an important message across to football supporters and the wider community in Perth & Kinross.”
