Following our event at Coventry City this week, Jordan has signed up as an Honorary Patron of our campaign
Jordan Clarke joined us for a Show Racism the Red Card event at Coventry City FC this week. He took questions from the the young people, sharing his own experiences of racism and giving advice to the audience members.
Show Racism the Red Card has been working in partnership with the club for a number of seasons to deliver anti-racism events - Jordan has participated for the last three years. We are delighted he has pledged his support to our campaign by becoming an honorary patron.
Coventry's Jordan Clarke was awarded a first-team squad number for the 2008/09 Championship campaign in the same year he was taken on by the club as a first-year Academy apprentice. He enjoyed his most fruitful season in a City shirt in 2010/11 season, making 22 first team appearances and scoring his first goal, a superb half volley in a 3-0 win over Barnsley at the Ricoh in October 2010 as well as making an appearance for the England Under 20s.
Jordan is currently recovering from a knee injury, we wish him a speedy recovery and hope he will be back to full fitness soon.
