One of the most successful additions to this year's Fortnight of Action is all professional football club's nominating a Fortnight of Action Ambassador.
Having a dedicating Fortnight of Action Ambassador at each SPL and SFL club has been a great success this year, messages of support included:
"At Dundee United we are committed to banishing racism and bigotry from this country. Football is a game for everyone and that’s the message we want to put across. It is vital that we continue to work to change the attitudes of people within football and in the wider community to make Scotland a great place to live for everyone.
"As an Irishman who works in Scotland and has laid down family roots in this country with the birth of my son here, I want it to be a place where he can grow up without prejudice towards other human beings."
Dundee United FC, Fortnight of Action Ambassador: Sean Dillon, First Team Player
"Stenhousemuir Football Club are delighted to participate in the Show Racism the Red Card Fortnight of Action. We as a Club wholeheartedly support this initiative. We believe that it is vital to highlight both the anti-racism and anti-sectarian message and do in fact have a first team squad picture showing the ’Show Racism the Red Card’ cards on the front cover of our match day programme".
Stenhousemuir FC Fortnight of Action Ambassador: Chairman, Martin McNairney
We are looking forward to another weekend of anti-racism and anti-sectarianism actions at football clubs across Scotland.
