Our Welsh Campaign held their first ever football festivals during their new Week of Action in Anti Bullying week.
This was the first of its kind for us in Wales and I believe we have got a good balance between education and football participation, we are hoping to expand on this program in the future.

140 young children in Cardiff and Newport took part in a football festival integrated with Anti Racist Education over a two day period.
The Cardiff festival was held at Fitzalan High school and attended by 4 primary schools from their cluster totalling 40 pupils.
In Newport the festival was held in Lliswerry High school with 5 primary schools bringing 100 pupils to the event.
In the morning sessions pupils interacted with ex Cardiff City player & SRtRC Education worker Christian Roberts and Simon Richards (SRtRC Education Worker). Pupils learned about racism through fun and challenging activities.
The afternoon saw pupils take part in a fun football festival incorporating 5v5 games where some fantastic sportsmanship was on show.
Each festival was held at the Gol centre non site which has structured programs that run throughout the year for children and adult
The festival was a huge success during our newly launched Week of Action in anti bullying week which will also see around 30 junior league teams show their support at their games this weekend.
