This season Charlton Women have chosen Show Racism the Red Card as their charity sponsor.
Show Racism the Red Card are to sponsor Charlton Women.
Charlton Women & Girls Football Technical Director, Paul Mortimer said: "It is absolutely fantastic to have them on board. We want to raise awareness of racism - it is significant for the Charlton area and anything we can do to help them we will."
Paul is also an Education Worker for Show Racism the Red Card in the South East of England, "We use predominantly ex-pro football players and we visit schools carrying out fitness workshops and then with the same class, workshops on racism.
"Some class groups are all black, Asian or white but most are mixed. It is interesting, a real eye opener as there are a lot of people who are mis-educated on the subject of racism."
Paul Mortimer carries out most of his work with fellow ex-pro and England international, Luther Blissett, the only player to have ever scored a hat-trick on his international debut. He added: "We do teacher workshops too. It is a varied job and no two days are the same, it is very enjoyable."
