Brendan Barber, TUC General Secretary backs Show Racism the Red Card and encourages support from the unions
Show Racism the Red Card is extremely grateful for the generous support it receives from a number of unions, including the TUC itself. Brendan Barber, TUC General Secretary is now asking unions to consider ways in which they can build on these links.
"SRtRC is an anti-racist campaigning and educational charity, which works tirelessly and imaginatively to counter racism. They combat racism by using the high profile of footballers to present an anti-racist message to young people and others.
This is achieved through:

As well as ongoing initiatives through posters, calendars and educational work, SRtRC are also developing adult education sessions and have speakers available to cover trade union conferences and anti-racist education workshops.
In the current economic climate, as a charity, SRTRC is particularly seeking financial support to continue their important work.
