SRtRC would like to say "Welcome" to our newest members of staff
In recent months SRtRC has recruited several new members of staff in all four of our offices. We would like to take this opportunity to welcome them and wish them good luck in their new roles.
At Head Office we advertised for a brand new role of Finance Officer. Jill Urron was the succesful candidate and she is now coming to the end of her first month in post. This is a key role that will be vital in managing the growth of the campaign. Former Newcastle United player, Olivier Bernard is the fifth coach to join the North East team, he has already been out in to schools and attended club events, we're very happy to have him on board.
In our new South East Office, Lara Cumming has joined as a Community Education Worker. Lara has begun to deliver anti-racism workshops in schools all over the East and South East of England.
The Education team in Glasgow has seen several changes in the last year. Dee Kinning is now in post as a Community Education Worker, she has started to deliver anti-racism workshops all over Scotland. A new role has recently been created to manage the Education Team in Scotland and we are delighted to announce that current Campaign Worker, Tommy Breslin, has been successful in securing the job of Community Education Coordinator. This means there will soon be a job vacancy for Campaign Worker in Scotland so please check our Job Vacancies pages for more information.
As in Glasgow, the Cardiff office has also created a new role of Communtiy Education Coordinator. The successful applicant for this job was Simon Richards who will be joining the team very soon. Wales also have a new coach, Christian Roberts. The former Cardiff City and Bristol City player will be visiting schools and delivering Footbal Fun and Fitness sessions as well as helping the Education Team in the classroom. Finally we would like to welcome our newest recruit, Claire Skidmore. Claire will be joining the Welsh campaign as Information and Support Worker.
A very warm welcome to all our new members of staff, we wish them well and look forward to hearing about their work soon.
