Three great local bands are playing a gig in support of the campaign on the first saturday in September
Moira Stewart, Milky Wimpshake and the Sunday School Adventure Club will be live at the Cluny 2 in Newcastle upon Tyne's Ouseburn on Saturday September 5th.
Here is what highly respected local magazine The Crack has to say about this event:
Moria Stewart are a super brilliant Newcastle based band who sound like New Order overdosing on Tutti Fruttis. Yes – that good. Also on the bill are top banana local indie stalwarts Milky Wimpshake and the super soaraway Sunday School Adventure Club. The gig is a benefit event for local anti-racist organisation, Show Racism The Red Card and should be filed under 'unmissable'.
Doors 7.30pm, tickets only £5 on the door, £4.50 in advance from the venue.
