Bryan Robson Biography
Bryan, former-Manchester United and England captain, was one of the earliest high profile managers to become involved with the SRtRC.
Becoming an honorary patron in 1998 whilst manager of Middlesbrough FC he ensured, along with colleague Viv Anderson, strong support for the campaign from both squad and club.
Both Bryan and Viv appeared in the 1998 SRtRC film and encouraged other managers and players to get involved.
Bryan, who collected more than 90 caps for England, started his playing career at West Bromwich Albion and went on to make almost 500 appearances for Manchester United - becoming the longest serving captain in the club's history.
In 1990, he was awarded an MBE for his services to football and is currently a Global Ambassador for Manchester United.
